Family Medicine
Riyadh · Central Region
King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC) provides a structured, academically focused experience for visiting family medicine trainees seeking comprehensive exposure to family medicine practice within a university-affiliated tertiary care setting. Trainees participate in outpatient clinics under close consultant supervision, where clinics operate only in the presence of a consultant and all patient cases are reviewed and discussed prior to patient discharge. The rotation offers exposure to a diverse patient population, including university staff, their dependents, and students. In addition to general Family Medicine clinics, trainees gain structured exposure to Employee Health services (typically including a dedicated week) as well as participation in specialized clinics such as Diabetes, Obesity, and Geriatrics throughout the rotation.
