The Family Medicine Residency Program at National Guard Hospital in Al Ahsa is a joint structured postgraduate training program with Dammam center designed to develop competent family physicians capable of delivering comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered care. The program provides diverse clinical exposure through primary care centers and hospital-based rotations, including internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, and subspecialties most of it is inside NGHA hospital. Trainees gain hands-on experience in managing acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and community health. The training emphasizes evidence-based practice, communication skills, and multidisciplinary teamwork within the MNGHA healthcare system.
